Jill Lederman

Jill Llelderman is a former journalist from New York City, turned social worker living in downtown Charleston. She and her husband moved here two years ago with their cat, and could not be happier. Jill works as a therapist at the Medical University of South Carolina, a meditation and mindfulness teacher and a freelance writer. Her articles have appeared in New York Magazine, Time Out New York and various Scholastic News publications. Jill is excited to combine her passions in the helping profession and social justice with her love for feature writing. Outside of work, she enjoys teaching meditation in the community, volunteering in a book club at the women’s county detention center, traveling, running, trying new foods and exploring topics around psychology and spirituality.
